  • What is Project Come Home?
    Project Come Home is an ongoing initiative in Alberton to encourage retiring baby boomers who left Prince Edward Island years ago to return home.

  • What is the ultimate goal of Project Come Home?
    To increase the population of the Alberton area and enhance the services and opportunities available to area residents and visitors. The population of Alberton, for instance, currently stands at just over 1,100. It is hoped with Project Come Home, the population will be in excess of 20,000 by the year 2025. There are numerous spinoffs that will come from an increased population, as new and enhanced services of various types will be required, increasing the opportunities of current and future residents as well as visitors to the area.
