Pledge yourself to a healthier lifestyle: come out for a walk on Friday, 4 June @ 3:30PM with Alberton Town Council at Alberton Town Hall (10 Railway Street). Healthy snacks to follow! This is a kick off to a weekly walk which will be every Wednesday evening @ 6:00PM starting 16 June. Everyone is Welcome! Made possible through GO PEI.

Hope Centre Clubhouse is hosting Red Rock Wrestling at the Jacques Cartier Arena (located at 349 Church Street) at 2PM. Kowboy Mike Hughes, Big Chris Cooke, Brody Steele, Lincoln Steen plus many more will be featured. This is a family event with no vulgar language or inappropriate actions, just hard hitting WWE style wrestling! Advance tickets at Dean's Quik Mart in Alberton, Eugene's in Tignish, Elmsdale Corner Gas, and O'Leary Guardian Drugs.

The Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation Tour for the Cure will be in Alberton today from 10:00am-6:00pm. Look for the big pink bus in front of CIBC located at 478 Main Street. Admission to the bus is free and everyone is welcome to come and learn about breast health and breast cancer screening. For more information:
